Projection TV

Projection television (PTV) is the leading category of large screen TVs over 50”. A major shortcoming for traditional PTVs is the mercury-arc lamp illumination, with its limited lifespan, high cost, frequent replacement and environmental issues.

PhlatLight-illuminated PTVs have been available since 2006. PhlatLight is the only LED in the world powerful enough to illuminate large-screen PTVs. In addition to their long lifetimes, PhlatLight chipsets improve efficiency and performance, delivering 40 percent more color than conventional sets while eliminating the mechanical noise and image artifacts associated with color wheels.
