Assemble and test LED lighting system prototypes comprised of LEDs, electronics, thermal management optics and housings
- Responsible for working with project leaders and engineers to design and assemble LED prototypes, fabricating necessary components to create working prototypes, and executing rudimentary optical, electrical and thermal performance tests on the prototypes
- Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering and familiarity with SolidWorks and basic optics required
- Experience in machine shop and electrical and mechanical assembly
- Demonstrated ability to read assembly drawings and rudimentary circuit diagrams, and to work from concept drawings to create prototypes
