Patent Specialist

Write patent applications to protect the company's rapidly expanding product and technology portfolio

• Responsible for writing patent applications, preparing patent filing documents, interacting with engineers and scientists to determine novel aspects of inventions, and coordinating and conducting patent brainstorming sessions
• B.S. in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Optics or equivalent discipline, 1+ years of patent experience, and excellent English technical writing skills required
• 1-3 years technical writing experience and an understanding of semiconductor processing, semiconductor devices, LED technology, photonics, optical systems and basic electronic circuits
