Support the internal quality system within Luminus
- Responsible for generating and publishing monthly performance analysis and trending of key quality metrics including returns, non-conformances, CAR/PAR, supplier quality and others; driving supplier management using TQRDC techniques and continuous improvement activities on released prducts for assigned customers; and participating as a member of the Supply Chain team to drive quality activities for commodities including supplier selection and qualification, audits, corrective actions/improvements and receiving inspection and testing
- Support internal product development activities as part of an NPI project team by developing quality and inspection plans, sourcing strategies and first article inspections; develop, implement and manage internal RoHS Program and procedures to meet ISO standards; and perform internal auditing of processes and procedures to ensure conformance to ISO9001:2000 requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical discipline and 5 years experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in an engineering capacity required
- Knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, Six Sigma and TQM problem sovling methods/quality systems; Certified Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and IPC-A-610; ASQ certified engineer or internal auditor; knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques and RoHS compliance/Green Management; and prior experience in semiconductor wafer fab and package assembly in an engineering capacity
